Abstract

Based on literary classics viewed through concepts of Jacques Lacan, in this paper we discuss contributions from the field of literature to psychoanalytic clinical work rlated to the study of perversion. At this point in the research we are discussing four books: "Philosophy in the Bedroom," by Marques de Sade, "In Search of Lost Time," by Marcel Proust, "To the Left of the Father," by Raduan Nassar, and "Finnegans Wake," by James Joyce. © 2009 Associação Universitária de Pesquisa em Psicopatologia Fundamental/University Association for Research in Fundamental Psychopathology.
