Abstract

When studying modern society it becomes also necessary to study women's role in the development of History and to analyze how the different milestones of historical development have affected them, because women and men have never been in the same social position in History. It is true that "Poverty has a woman's face". Indeed, in every crisis, women have been especially affected in a singularly repeated way, except, of course, by the the patriarchal system crisis that provoked the feminist movement: Many researchers have described it as the true revolution of the twentieth century.
