New disperse dyes derived from 1,3-thiazolidin-4-ones and -5-ones for dyeing polyester fabrics.

Abstract

In the present investigation, some new 5-(arylhydrazono)-3-(phenylamino)-2-(phenylimino)-1,3-thiazolidin-4-ones, a bishydrazono deriv., bis-thiazolidinone hydrazono derivs., and 5-(arylhydrazono)-3-(phenylsulfonylamino)-2-(phenylimino)thiazolidin-4-ones were prepd. Their dyeing performance on polyester fabrics is considered and fastness properties are assessed. [on SciFinder(R)]
