Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that occurred at the beginning of 2020 caused a change in the normal activities of everyday society, one of which was teaching and learning activities in schools. The Ministry of Education and Culture, led by Nadiem Makarim, has issued several innovations for handling the COVID-19. The purpose of this study was to determine the Leadership Style that is owned by the Minister of Education and Culture and its influence on Innovations carried out by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Handling COVID-19. Literature study conducted shows that the Minister of Education and Culture has a transformational leadership style and inclusive leadership which directly has an influence on innovations carried out by the Ministry of education and Culture in handling COVID-19 .Keywords: Pandemic COVID-19; Leadership Style, Innovation; Handling of COVID-19; Transformational leadership; Inclusive Leadership.
