Abstract

Parenteral Opioid Shortage Various measures have resulted in a reduction in the quantity of opioids prescribed in the United States, but there have been unintended consequences — including severe shortages of the three most commonly used parenteral opioids: morphine, hydromorphone, and fentanyl.
