Abstract

The transfer of tetramethylammonium and picrate ions at the poly(vinyl chloride)-nitrobenzene gel/water and agar-water gel/ nitrobenzene interfaces was studied by means of cyclic voltammetry. Well-defined cyclic voltammograms of ion transfer were obtained for both ions with these polymer gel electrodes. The results indicate that the polymer gel electrode is promising for use in electrochemical analysis of ions. © 1984, The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry. All rights reserved.
