Abstract

Scalar random source-fields whose source-field realizations are described in the 4D space-frequency domain by the inhomogeneous Helmholtz equation were studied. The equations were applied to random sources of arbitrary degree of spatial-temporal coherence. The constraints include minimum energy formulations of inverse problems with random sources. Green theorem was used for any localized nonradiating (NR) source correlation. The analytic property of the plane wave spectrum explains both localizability of the NR field correlation.
