Abstract

[...]this data-driven technology has become somewhat of a permanent fixture in the HR recruitment practitioners' toolbox for identifying and selecting high-potential employees. [...]the correct and clear application of criteria in search algorithms is imperative if they are to replace HR professionals in the identification and selection of future employees and to manage the later stages of the recruitment process. [...]automated recruitment algorithms complement HR practitioners in their "war for talent", but they cannot replace the strategic role HR practitioners play in an organization.
