Abstract
The integration of technology in healthcare has transformed clinical decision-making through Decision Support Systems (DSS), improving the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of medical decisions. DSS provide clinicians with real-time data, predictive analytics, and evidence-based recommendations, significantly impacting diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient outcomes. As artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data advance, DSS enable personalized medicine and early detection of complex conditions. This paper also addresses challenges like data privacy, workflow integration, and the need for continual refinement. Ultimately, DSS enhance patient safety and elevate the overall standard of healthcare delivery.
