Abstract
Chapter 7 discusses major results of the case study analyses and provides recommendations on how understanding the types and forms of insult and its dynamics can help third parties in mediating and resolving particular conflicts. These intervention approaches depend on the forms of the core and secondary insults, their use by both or only one party (types of insult), and the specificity of the dynamics of these insults. The chapter also provides practical recommendations for each proposed method and develops ideas for dealing with insults in each of the analyzed cases.
