Abstract

Simplicity! A direct entry to amido rhodium and iridium complexes was easily achieved by reaction of gaseous ammonia with alkoxo-bridged precursors under very mild conditions. This new approach allowed the high-yield access for the first time to elusive [Rh-NH 2] complexes. Copyright © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
