Direct access to parent amido complexes of rhodium and iridium through N-H activation of ammonia

Abstract

Simplicity! A direct entry to amido rhodium and iridium complexes was easily achieved by reaction of gaseous ammonia with alkoxo-bridged precursors under very mild conditions.
