Abstract

A subgrid scale combustion model was developed for large eddy simulations of turbulent premixed burners. The efficiency function was developed from direct numerical simulation results of flame-vortex interactions, combined with a spectral analysis close to the ITNFS description. Finally, the model was implemented in the AVBP code.
