Abstract
Myasthenia gravis is rare in the newborn infant. Congenital myasthenia gravis is a mild but persistent illness which occurs in children of normal mothers. Neonatal myasthenia gravis is a transient illness which has occurred only in children born to mothers with myasthenia gravis. Eighty two infants with transient myasthenia gravis have been described so far. The first report from India is described.
