Abstract

The design and development of smart sensors with signal processing tools and advanced algorithms has made possible the integration of a whole module as System in Package (SIP) to monitor many human problems and also provides a solution to reduce such problems. EEG plays an important role in electrophysiology field and is used to diagnose various human diseases related to brain. This paper presents the prospective study for developing an EEG sensor based human internal stress observation system. Here we reviewed the methodologies adopted for smart EEG signal acquisition from EEG sensor and have listed the desired features for stress identification based on cognitive changes of brain activity.
