Abstract

The productive model of agriculturization spread in the pampean región. Also, alternatives such as agroecology were developed The hypothesis is that family units that adopted productive variants to the hegemonic model, managed to remain in production. The objetive is to document and analyze the strategies of four family farmer and their relationship with the agroecology model. From case studies, it is found that they did not enter the hegemonic model and are close to what agroecology proposes. It is concluded that the type of unit and its trajectory promote the choice of alternative models.
