Abstract

Vacancy related defects in undoped and 1 mol% Fe doped Pb(Zr 54Ti46)O3 ferroelectric ceramic samples have been investigated by means of positron lifetime spectroscopy. Temperature dependent measurements between 10 K and room temperature have been performed to study the influence of the acceptor type doping on the defect structure and on the charge states of the defects. On commercial Pb(Zr0.54Ti 0.47(Ni0.33Sb0.67)0.08)O 3 samples the influence of different electrical loading have been studied. © 2007 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
