RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM ABSENSI PEGAWAI MELALUI PENGENALAN WAJAH MENGGUNAKAN METODE LBP (Local Binary Pattern) BERBABSIS RASPBERRY PI

Abstract

Abstarct-The Raspberry Pi microcomputer is a practical tool whose shape and size are relatively mini with very complex uses, many say that the Raspberry Pi is similar to a mini computer, with many functions that can meet various human needs as a microcontroller server to digital image processing. This study aims to meet the needs in the field of practicality, especially practicality in employee absenteeism, considering that current attendances are mostly still using handwritten manuals or finger prints, where the Covid-19 pandemic condition like this is very vulnerable because it can transmit the virus through touch marks. By utilizing the Rasberry Pi Microcomputer as a processor and a webcam as a tool for recording and detecting faces, it will then be processed by the rasberry pi using the OpenCV library to detect faces and distinguish human faces or not, then facial recognition will be processed using the LBP (Local Binary Pattern) method.. After that, if the face is recognized by the system, it will be processed and entered into the mySQL database. Furthermore, it will be entered into the table as attendance according to the time the face is detected. And if the face is not recognized by the system, it will still be processed but will be entered into the database table as a guest according to the time the face was detected. Abstrak-Microcomputer Raspberry Pi adalah sebuah alat praktis yang bentuk dan ukurannya yang tergolong mini dengan kegunaan yang begitu kompleks, banyak yang menyebut Raspberry Pi ini mirip dengan mini komputer, dengan banyak fungsi tersebut dapat memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan manusia sebagai microcontroller server sampai dengan pengolahan citra digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan dalam bidang kepraktisan terutama kepraktisan dalam absensi pegawai, mengingat absensi saat ini kebanyakan masih memakai manual tulis tangan atau finger print, dimana kondisi pandemi covid-19 seperti ini hal itu sangat rawan karena dapat menularkan virus lewat bekas sentuhan. Dengan memanfaatkan Microcomputer Rasberry Pi sebagai pemroses dan webcam sebagai alat untuk perekam sekaligus pendeteksi wajah, kemudian akan diproses oleh rasberry pi dengan menggunakan library OpenCV untuk mendeteksi wajah dan membedakan wajah manuasia atau bukan, kemudian akan diproses pengenalan wajah dengan metode LBP (Local Binary Pattern). Setelah itu apabila wajah dikenali oleh sistem maka akan diproses dan dimasukan ke basis data mySQL. Selanjutnya akan dimasukan kedalam tabel sebagai absensi sesuai dengan waktu terdeteksinya wajah. Dan jika wajah tidak dikenali oleh sistem maka tetap akan diproses namun akan dimasukan ke tabel database sebagai tamu sesuai dengan waktu terdeteksinya wajah tersebut.
