Abstract

Focal myositis is a commonly referenced, infrequently reported and poorly documented benign inflammatory pseudotumour, which may be misdiagnosed as a malignant tumour. We report the clinicopathologic features in a case of focal myositis in the thigh of a 15-year-old boy. Copyright 2011 BMJ Publishing Group. All rights reserved.
