Abstract

List et al. have found "the significant analytical result (that) equilibrium raindrop size distributions occur in families that are multiples of one another,' and consider it "an important result that has not been previously noted.' In this note, we elaborate on a scaling result given in Srivastava (1982) which yields the result of List et al. as a special case and permits a quantitative discussion of the speed with which equilibrium is approached. -from Author
