Abstract

Manually filling the tendon water is considered less effective or can also cause a performance burden, because you have to switch back and forth when the tendon is full and turn it on when the water tendon is empty with it can also increase the electrical power load because in a day the pump can be turned on several times. With manual filling also can not tell how much water in the tendon. Not to mention sometimes forget to turn off or turn on the water pump. Therefore, this research aims to simplify human performance by reducing the performance load to turn off or turn on the water when the tendon is full or empty by utilizing IoT technology. This research was made using the waterfall method and also utilizes the HC-SR04 ultra-sonic sensor. Later this research will produce a tool that can monitor how much water is in the tendon and, turn off or turn on the pump automatically which is controlled by the nodeMCU and the output data is displayed in the Blynk application. After several tests, it was found that the tool made can function properly, also the results of testing the response speed of the tool to commands by the user have an influence on the speed of the internet connection.
