In September 2023 and 2024, luteinizing hormone (LH) was determined in previously collected samples to assess puberty development (LH ≥ 0.3mU/L). Since the onset of puberty usually occurs between 8-13 (girls) and 9-14 years (boys), children <8 years were considered pre-puberal and those >15 years were considered adolescent.
