ANALISIS PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DAN PENGELUARAN PEMERINTAH TERHADAP PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA DI KABUPATEN ACEH BARAT

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth and government spending on labor absorption in West Aceh district in the period 2005-2014. The analysis model used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the estimation result, there are constants of 5.718, the coefficient of economic growth regression (X2) is 428, and the government expenditure regression coefficient (X2) is 2,639. With the coefficient of determination (R adjustes) of 48.1 percent. This means that employment in West Aceh Regency is 48.1 percent influenced by economic growth and government spending and the remaining 51, 9 percent is explained by other variables outside of this model. suggestions put forward that local governments that have been working on their economic performance to encourage and spur economic growth, especially in all sectors that are able to absorb more labor such as agricultural sector and trade sector and local companies. And also need to seek in overcoming the problem of wages so as to improve the welfare of workers without sacrificing the interests of employers.
