Abstract

The Water Rail is an enigmatic bird, almost more frequently heard than seen. Nevertheless, sufficient information on its migration and biology has been accumulated in recent years by the network of bird observatories and by B.T.O. members participating in various schemes to form the backbone of this preliminary study. © 1973 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
