Abstract

The article analyzes the graph of the analytic act introduced by Lacan in his 15th Seminar from the perspective of the mathematical group of Klein and the particular Lacanian interpretation of Cartesian philosophy. Initially the article presents the Lacanian interpretation of the Cartesian cogito introduced in his 11th seminary, in order to highlight the alterations made in his second interpretation performed in 1967. We will present Klein's scheme proposed by Barbut, the mathematician, which provides the graph of the act's structure and then we will discuss the operations designated here as alienation, truth and transfer. We will demonstrate the appropriation made by Lacan of this scheme, relating it to the several steps of a psychoanalytical cure and linking it to the Cartesian terms found in the commentary about cogito: being and thought.
