Abstract

Durante el desarrollo del lenguaje los niños atraviesan etapas de llanto, gutureo, silabeo, balbuceo, palabreo, parloteo, fraseo y formación de oraciones las que se presentan a edades más o menos previsibles. El conocer y memorizar estas etapas le permitirá al pediatra decidir cuándo derivar al niño a una evaluación más formal.During the language development the children pass through stages crying, syllabication, babble, phrasing and formation of sentences which are presented more or less predictable ages. Knowing and memorize these steps will enable the pediatrician to decide when to refer a child to a more formal evaluation.
