Abstract
This chapter starts by describing standard literature reviews to explain what is different about meta-analysis and meta-regression. A history of meta-analysis in planning is provided, followed by the purpose and mechanics of it. This section differentiates conventional meta-analysis from meta-regression analysis. It includes equations in explaining the meta-regression analysis concept. The chapter concludes with two real planning examples of meta-analysis and meta-regression.
