Abstract

The must uncorrupted nations are the mast competitive nations. The corruption – a very important phenomenon – is the one who make a nation to try to be competitive. In the last years the Nordic Country’s leading the top of competitiveness and the top of the uncorrupted nation. This article emphasizes the role of corruption in economic and social life with a strong impact on economic growth and competitiveness. The growth competitiveness index and the corruption perception index are the indicators who help us to calculate the correlation index between corruption and competitiveness.
