Abstract

The paper raises the question of the need to study the psychological conditions of formation of the subject of pedagogical activity, ready to develop and implement innovative ideas in teaching and education. In the course of theoretical analysis, the use of ontological research scheme of formation of the subjectivity of the teacher and its formation is justified. The procedure and methods of step-by-step empirical research of personal features of students of pedagogical specialties (n=75) taught in the conditions of the creative educational environment, which are at different stages of formation of subjectivity are given. It is shown that students skip a number of stages of formation of subjectivity: the stage of formation of the motivation of professional activity, the stage of learning of innovative practice, and the stage of imitative action. Students who correlated their activities with the top stages of the formation of subjectivity do not differ in the formedness of the five basic characteristics of personality from the students who correlated their activities with the initial stages of the formation of subjectivity, which confirms the idea that their subjective qualities, which are attributed to the top stages, are not formed. The high level of neuroticism in students of the selection was revealed. In conclusion, the author explains the need to develop an empirically based model for the formation of the subject of innovative pedagogical activity.
