Peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Mengembangkan Hard Skill Siswa Di SMK Swasta Teladan Medan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing students' hard skills. The research method used is a qualitative method that produces descriptive data. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The research is presented descriptively in accordance with the problem and research objectives. The results showed that the role of Islamic religious education teachers at SMK Swasta Teladan Medan in developing students' hard skills by providing motivation to students and input, as well as good direction for the future of students, there is motivation given by Islamic religious education teachers, namely giving lectures, rewards and understanding of hard skills and student responses in receiving motivation from Islamic religious education teachers, namely showing enthusiasm, high involvement and directly applying what is learned in everyday life. The novelty of this research is that it was found that Islamic religious education teachers play a role in developing students' hard skills at SMK Swasta Teladan Medan.
