Abstract

In conceptually, the method of da’wah has many kinds, one of which is the method of cultural propagation. The method of cultural propagation is da’wah with traditional traditions or local culture with Islamic traditions. The method of the cultural preaching of the Jamaah Pasrah Foundation succeeded in reducing thuggery in Dukuhseti Village and other villages in the Dukuhseti District, Pati Regency. The Foundation conducted acculturation of local culture with Islamic traditions with several discussions. First, inviting thugs to participate in tahlilan, zibaan, yasinan, manakiban, and ziarah kubur activities. Secondly, providing senior religious nuances of preaching through such tours as establishing a burdah group. Third, preaching through tahlilan, yasinan, and manakiban by providing alms or ingkung to be filled together. Fourth, give spiritual guidance through wirid, selawat, hadrah, and also a kind of treatment through therapy with recitations of the holy Qur'an. Fifth, ask ex-thugs to fast for one week by way of sahur only once. All this is expected to be realized in 12 forms of activities, there are annual, monthly, and weekly. Cultural Da’wah of the Jamaah Pasrah Foundation is able to restore thuggery from all categories, korea, gentho, and bajingan classes.
