Abstract

The objective of this research is to design and validate an instrument to measure the entrepreneurship competence and the entrepreneurship behavior of university professors of Primary Education degree. The methodology used is quantitative. The data analysis indicates that entrepreneurship competence is not sufficiently integrated into the curricula, that professors do not value significantly the competence for the future teachers of primary education, and that the method of teaching that is mainly use is the master class. However, professors have a high perception of the characteristics related to the entrepreneur, especially in teamwork, innovation, self-motivation, and oral and written communication.
