N,N′-Di-4-pyridylperylene-3,4:9,10-bis-(dicarboximide)

Abstract

The title compound, C34H16N4O 4, is a perylene-imide pigment utilized for H2 gas sensors. The molecule has Ci symmetry. The angle between each of the pyridyl rings and the peryleneimide skeleton is 74.5 (2)°.
