Abstract

In this work, a series of experiments was carried out to study the evaporation rate of sessile and suspended droplets. The basic geometric characteristics of an evaporating drop from a biphilic surface are investigated. Evaporation dynamics data have been obtained, showing that evaporation from an inverted substrate is faster than evaporation of a sessile drop.
