Abstract
This doctoral project consists of an extensive research and development work on cognition, learning and didactic methodology, which is specified for the case of daytime astronomy in primary school (apparent movement of the Sun in the sky). Part of the integration of certain elements of the evolutionary theory of systems, the physics of chaos, neurobiology and genetic epistemology to construct new representations of cognitive processes, a tool to map the conceptual (evolutionary) space in a given topic (effective, at least, for descriptive knowledge). ), a formalization of the didactic language and proposals of didactic methodology of different hierarchical levels. All this is specified for the movement of the Sun in the sky and is experimentally tested in an iterative way, which generates a feedback process for the optimization of the proposals. Evolutionary maps are an advanced model of learning progressions.
