Abstract

This research studies about the investor’s preference with special reference to Neyveli Township. This study has considered 200 respondents. The main objective of the study is to determine the factors that influence the investors while making investments. This research has used self-construction questionnaire. Frequency analysis, mean and standard deviation, and ANOVA has been computed. It is found that the regular income, security for income, safety, children education, risk protection, purchasing of new asset, debt free life, children marriage, luxury lifestyle, parental care, home loan, tax benefits, vacation planning, retirement plan, future return and charity have an influence on the investors. The result shows that age and gender has no influence in the investment.
