Abstract

ZnO-nanowire arrays (ZNWAs) prepared via hydrothermal method of ZnO NPs/ITO substrates were used as the support to fabricate PbS/CdS/ZnO NWAs composited by using successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction. After confirmation of the structure by using XRD analysis and optical properties using Uv–vis spectroscopy. Hall-effect and photoelectrochemical-performance were conducted for the purpose of studying electrical and photoresponse properties. A twofold- heterostructure (n-n-p) type of the deposition PbS on CdS/ZnO has confirmed from Hall-results. As-prepared photoanode PbS/CdS/ZnO NWs conveyed performance (0.6% @ 0.25 V vs. Ag/AgCl) be found 1.5 times much than CdS/ZnO NWAs and six times much more than ZnO NWs.
