Abstract
This article contributes to a better understanding of managerial and organizational factors that favour different types of innovation, in showing the key role of creativity for both explorative and exploitative innovations. It also underlines the limits of the notion of ambidexterity and of its measure. Besides, it contributes to show that management and organization, usually dealt in two distinct literatures, should be viewed simultaneously while studying their possible interactions.
