Abstract

Smartness and sustainability have many points in common. Recentliterature suggests that smartness would be a possibility to achieve the desiredsustainability of tourist destinations. This article reviews the theoretical mech-anisms that link both concepts and analyses their importance for a set of smartcities an destinations in Spain.
