Abstract

This paper presents the general requirements for dealing with the temporal aspects of multiple binary events. Discussions of the need for common data structures in this work and the optimal structures for efficient storage of this type of data are also presented. General features of automated data collection devices and a description of the data input device used by the author are detailed. Finally, a comparison is made between a number of data input devices. © 1977 Psychonomic Society, Inc.
