Abstract

A detailed biostratigraphic and magnetostratigraphic correlation is established at four sites and provides better resolution for the chronology of the lower Paleocene and the Maestrichtian near the Cretaceous/Tertiary boundary. A good correlation with the Gubbio Section, Italy, is established.-Authors
