Abstract
The title compound, [Ir2Cl2(C12H 8NO)4]·1.5CH2Cl2 or [Ir(fppy)2Cl]2·1.5CH2Cl2 [where fppy is 4-(2-pyridyl)benzaldehyde], is a dinuclear iridium(III) complex containing two six-coordinate iridium centres connected by two bridging chlorides, which has crystallized with the solvent dichloromethane. © 2004 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
