Abstract

Stress, an inherent part of life, can significantly affect a pregnant woman’s mood and health. Cosmetologists with specialized knowledge and the right tools can effectively reduce discomfort and alleviate the negative effects of pregnancy through gentle relaxation treatments and therapies focused on massage, beauty treatments that not only reduce stress levels but also improve circulation. The study aimed to analyse the effects of cosmetological treatments on the well-being of pregnant women, with a particular focus on their importance in reducing stress and improving the physical and mental condition of mothers-to-be. Cosmetology salons can help pregnant women maintain emotional balance and well-being. An important aspect is to exclude treatments that may pose a risk, such as those using strong pressure, electric currents, intense heat or concentrated active ingredients.
