Abstract

The year 2024 will mark 30 years since the UN introduced the concept of the right to sexual and reproductive health. Since then, under the leadership of the WHO, progress has been made in developing educational programs on this topic. The UN has emphasized the need for these educational programs to truly meet the needs of the target population. We analyze what are the current needs of adolescents and what should be the keys to a comprehensive sexuality education that enables them to maintain healthy interpersonal relationships. We propose a reformulation of this education to improve its effectiveness, following the recommendations of the WHO.
