Abstract

In this paper, the design, simulation, and fabrication of a novel printed circular slot antenna with a band-notched function suitable for UWB application is presented and investigated. The band-notched characteristic is achieved and adjusted by inserting L-shaped branches into the ground plane. Experimental results show that the proposed antenna meets the requirement of wide working bandwidth of 3.1-10.6 GHz with return loss
