Successful treatment of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis complicating influenza A

Abstract

Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis complicating influenza has been fatal in all four cases reported to date. We report on a patient successfully treated with amphotericin B and flucytosine, followed by econazole when renal function deteriorated.
