Abstract

The author defines logodiversity as an affinity between biodiversity and linguistic and cultural diversity. He looks at translation as both an instrument for the preservation of logo-diversity and as a contributing factor to the silencing of human polyphony.L'auteur définit la logodiversité comme l'affinité entre la biodiversité, la linguistique et la diversité culturelle et il s'interroge sur le rôle de la traduction en tant qu'instrument pour la préservation de la logodiversité ou comme facteur contribuant au grand silence de la polyphonie humaine.
