Abstract

The book is an adaptation of an investigation presented to the National University of the Altiplano, whose objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Vaso de Leche program in the province of Puno, Peru, from the perspective of the beneficiaries, considering them as the unit of analysis. The research is quantitative with a descriptive scope, explanatory character and of a nonexperimental cross-sectional type. The technique used for data collection was the survey and the questionnaire was applied as an instrument, built from the regulations of the program itself. The total population considered was 4,309 beneficiaries and as a result of simple random sampling, 353 beneficiaries were surveyed. It was found that 57.51% of the beneficiaries surveyed indicate that the filtering in the program is fine, 56.94% are in favor of the program's coverage; as well as 58.36% of the beneficiaries consider that the program is effective. It was concluded that a continuous monitoring process of the Vaso de Leche Social Program in the province of Puno is required, so that its effectiveness remains at the same levels.
