Abstract

Alkyl-substituted acetylenes and diacetylenes with terminal ferrocenyl groups were synthesised starting from ferrocene. The reactivity of the triple bonds in the resulting compounds was used to prepare cobalt-alkyne complexes. Cyclotrimerisation of the monoacetylene resulted in a hexa-substituted benzene derivative with six pending ferrocenyl groups. © 2009 Verlag der Zeitschrift für Naturforschung, Tübingen.
