Abstract

Huiyu Liu and co‐workers develop an excellent sonosensitizer based on a metal–organic‐framework (MOF)‐derived mesoporous carbon nanostructure containing porphyrin‐like metal centers (PMCs). PMCs possess high reactive‐oxygen‐species‐generation efficiency due to their large HOMO–LUMO gap and porous structure. As described in article number 1800180, it is expected that PMCs will inspire the design of MOF‐derived carbon‐nanostructure sonosensitizers due to their promising inherent sonodynamic characteristics.
