Abstract

Take Home Message Clinical complete response to systemic therapy for patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer should be approached as rigorously as one would approach any biomarker. This requires uniform assessments and consistent definitions. Emerging data indicate that clinical response assessment may allow individualized treatment for patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer but further studies are needed.
